Wander and Experience was started in 2020 as an outlet for me to share travel tips, recommendations, and advice from my time traveling and living abroad. Currently, I am based in Asia, where I have spent over a decade living and working across China, Japan, Singapore, and India. I was born and raised in the United States, though I was bitten by the travel bug from a small age, so when opportunities to travel came up as I began my career after college, I took full advantage of them, and have managed to explore the world while working along the way.
Travel has always been a means for me to gain a better understanding and experience different cultures, see different environments, and get to know myself better. I have a passion for trying new foods, seeing new places, understanding cultural nuances, and seeing things I never imagined I would.
Over the years I have become obsessive about my travel planning, and have always loved a good travel tip or hack. Through this site, I hope to share what I have learned with the site’s readers, passing on the knowledge that has taken me plenty of years and dollars to learn myself.
